The cyclopic walls are constructed with porphyry stones sourced from a nearby riverbed, employing a traditional dry-stone technique without the use of cement. This method, once common in the region, has been revived with the help of skilled local artisans.

The paving uses red and grey porphyry extracted from local quarries. To reduce waste and optimise resources, the material was composed of approximately 50% pre-selected slabs and 50% quarry offcuts, which would otherwise be processed into aggregate.
