A ritual act of worship in Hinduism, in which offerings of light, flowers, water, or food are made to the divine—seen not as symbol, but as living presence.
A gesture of honour, reverence, or devotion, performed to welcome a deity, to receive a guest, to remember the dead, or to mark the sacred passing of time.
A dialogue between human and divine, where the worshipper offers and the deity receives, and in that quiet exchange, the invisible becomes near.
